Arsenal Lunchtime Round-Up, Monday 5th October 2026: Fresh Injury Concern as England Stars Return to London Early

Arsenal have been handed a fresh injury worry after one of their players was pulled out of England's clash with Czechia and sent back to London, according to Football.London (Football.London). It's understood the issue relates to Ezri Konsa, who picked up a knock during the 7-0 win over Croatia and has now been confirmed by Thomas Tuchel as unavailable for the Czechia game, meaning a double scare for the Gunners' defensive options (Football.London).

On a brighter note for planning purposes, Football.London reports that Norway's manager has confirmed captain Martin Odegaard will not be back in training at London Colney until later this week, having had a private jet booked for his return following international duty (Football.London).

Away from the first team, Arsenal.com has launched a new feature series, Hale End and Beyond, with the opening instalment focusing on academy product Tom Smith (Arsenal.com).

Fans are also being invited to get involved off the pitch, with Arsenal.com revealing the nominees for the Emirates Stadium September Goal of the Month award (Arsenal.com).
